Unified 3on3 Basketball

What is Unified 3on3 Basketball.

Special Olympics 3on3 Unified Basketball is a unique sporting event that pairs athletes with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team. This inclusive format promotes social inclusion and understanding through shared sports experiences. The game follows the standard rules of 3on3 basketball, which is a half-court game featuring three players per team. The emphasis is on teamwork, skill development, and fostering a sense of community and mutual respect among participants. This initiative aligns with the broader goals of the Special Olympics to break down barriers and celebrate the abilities of all athletes.
