Local Programs

Local Programs

Local Programs are the regional and local organizations that represent Special Olympics Alaska throughout the state. Volunteer Community Management Team members work with staff to oversee training, sports, and operations in their home communities.

Young Athletes

Young Athletes Program

Established by Special Olympics International to provide early developmental opportunities for children ages 2½ to 7 with and without intellectual disabilities, utilizing guided play and fun physical activities.
