Inclusion in Action

Unified Sports

Training together and playing together is the quickest path to friendship and understanding. Unified Sports joins people with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team.

The Principle

On the same field.
As equal teammates.

Unified Sports teams are made up of people of similar ages and abilities. This makes practices more fun, and the games more challenging and exciting for everyone.

Having sport in common is just one more way that preconceptions and false ideas are swept away. Our only opponent is intolerance, and only shoulder-to-shoulder, as teammates together, can we defeat it.
